About the Show
#FRANGLAIS - Anglo-French comedian brings les laughs to Brisbane
Paris-based English comedian Paul Taylor will kick off a week of French festivities across Brisbane with his show #FRANGLAIS at The Tivoli on Monday 10 July 2017.
In 2015, Paul Taylor quit his day job for Apple to pursue a career in stand-up comedy in Paris. He shot to fame after his video mocking the French custom of ‘la bise’ (greeting with a kiss) went viral. Taylor then received an offer from French television station Canal + to create a series of videos mocking other French cultural quirks called What The F**k France.
Paul Taylor said he is excited to bring his show to Australia for the first time.
“I know how much Australian audiences love comedy and I’m delighted to be performing my first Australian show in Brisbane as part of La French Week celebrations,” Mr Taylor said.
“The show is half in English, half in French but even people with the most rudimentary French will have a good time.
