Got your dancing’ shoes ready? The hottest dance band in the land Sunnyboys welcome the return of spring with two Australian exclusives at Brisbane’s hippest new music venue The Princess Theatre in Woolloongabba.

"The Sunnyboys’ resurgence has been in full flight for a few years now, but their incredible renaissance shows no sign of abating as they enter the fray to a hero’s reception and burst straight into Love To Rule, somehow ratcheting the love quotient even higher.” - Brisbane Tivoli / The Music Review 201

“Many acts make comebacks, more now than ever in fact, but I can’t remember feeling so much love in a room for an Australian band that, like its audience, was reliving its glorious youth. It was a fantastic experience.” – Iain Sheddon / The Australian, Sydney Opera House 2013

Support comes from Brisbane natives Ups and Downs celebrating their 35th anniversary of their classic mini-album Sleepless, a seven track delight that featured the bands’s glorious take on Neil Diamond’s Solitary Man as well as their own The Living Kind.

Be the first to say “I was there!” when Sunnyboys + Ups and Downs perform two intimate shows in Brisbane this October.

Open Season is supported through Tourism and Events Queensland, the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, and both the Live Music Australia Fund and the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) – initiatives of the Australian Government.
