Tiv bar-staffer Kinly Grey took a moment from behind the bars to absorb a bit of the love and write a few words for The Set List. Lachlan Douglas (@somefx) took the brilliant snaps.

It was Tuesday night at the Tivoli but Milky Chance and Amy Shark made it feel like Friday.

The sold out venue filled up quickly as punters arrived to see a brilliant support set by Amy Shark. The Gold Coast musician impressed both fans and newcomers with powerful vocals and onstage energy. Working the crowd, and showing off her versatility as a songwriter, Shark soon had the audience singing and swaying to hits such as "Weekends" and "Adore".

Pumped after Shark's set, the crowd roared as Milky Chance took stage. The two piece from Germany instantly had the audience captive with their infectious electrified folk pop. The harmonica never sounded so good as when Antonio Greger smashed out a ripper solo during "Sweet Sun" that drew louder cheers with every high note. The band barely had a reprieve before loud persistent demands for an encore saw them play their hit, "Stolen Dance" - and the crowd went wild! It was the band's first time at The Tiv and judging by their reception, it won't be their last. Fingers crossed.
