We strive to make The Tivoli a safe, welcoming and inclusive place for everyone, regardless of their gender or the gender they identify as. We work hard to ensure this is reflected in our venue, facilities and programming.
We’d like to take this opportunity to provide clarity to visitors, both online and in-real-life, regarding the toilet facilities we have available at The Tivoli.
We have four separate bathrooms throughout the venue — two in the main foyer area marked ‘Gents’ and ‘Ladies’ and two in the lower bar area marked ‘Gents’ and ‘Everybody’.
The ‘Gents’ bathrooms are signed as such, because they have public (not enclosed) urinals.
We have made these decisions to cater to the diversity of our patronage and the flexibility we have within a heritage building.
Inclusivity and acceptance is in The Tivoli’s DNA and at the heart of everything we do. If you have recommendations on how we can continue to improve diversity and inclusivity across our venue and facilities, we welcome them.
