There's a lyric in the Full Flower Moon Band song "NY-LA": "If everyone buys a ticket, we could play the Tivoli." Brisbane's most electrifying psych-rock outfit are making good on it. Led by the magnetic Kate "Babyshakes" Dillon, the band have spent the past two years building a following through sheer relentless force, graduating from local stages to international tours and back home again with considerably more momentum.
Their 2024 album Megaflower debuted at number one on the ARIA Australian Album Chart, sold out its first vinyl pressing in a week, and earned them champions including Iggy Pop on BBC Radio 6. A live reel from their recent EU/UK tour clocked 1.2 million views. The international profile is real, but Brisbane is where it started.
Full Flower Moon Band play The Tivoli for Open Season. Help them sell it out.
Open Season is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland's Strategic Partnerships Fund, and by the Australian Government through the Office for the Arts Revive Live program.
