The Tivoli is excited to welcome Phantastic Ferniture - the garage-pop side project of Julia Jacklin and long time pals Elizabeth Hughes and Ryan K Brennan - playing In The Round as a part of this years Brisbane Festival.
Jacklin says "I’d gone straight into folk music, so every experience I’d had on stage was playing sad music with a guitar in my hand. I thought, I would love to know what it’s like to make people feel good and dance.” And thus, in the legendary Sydney basement bar Frankie's (RIP), Phantastic Ferniture was born.
With hits like 'Take It Off' and 'Fuckin and Rollin', their music channels carefree confidence and unfiltered fun. Expect a euphoric, unmissable show from a band that thrives on spontaneity, low-fi charm, and the sheer thrill of making people move. Don't miss your chance to catch them in this one-of-a-kind set up.
Tivoli in the Round has been supported by Revive Live - an initiative of the Australian Government.
