Lookout 2021, Shag Rock are here.
Peach Fur - To be at a live show of Peach Fur is to be taken on a rock n roll journey which smashes genre cliches and yet seems familiar and new at the same time. Each time you try to put your finger on it and label them they slither out and surprise you time and again. 1kg of rock 'n roll, 1 cup of funk, 2 tablespoons of blues and a sprinkle of reggae, stirred thoroughly in a litre of psychedelic juice and left to cure in a jazzy jar. Badda Bing Badda Boom! The sound of Peach Fur.
Selfish Sons are a three-piece alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia. Making rock music with pop sensibility, these brothers have established themselves as eccentric entertainers with a powerful sound. The rock outfit consists of brothers Jordy and Finn who met Jonty in a commercial audition waiting room at the age of 8 After many devious nights and failed cover attempts , the addictive energy of live shows became an obsession. Since the release of their debut EP 'Sixfour' in 2019 accumulating over 400,000 streams, they have been on four tours and sold out six headline shows at iconic Australian venues and played festivals across the country. The band has spent the better part of 2020 focused on songwriting and honing their sonic, with new music scheduled for release in the coming months.
Citrus Daze burst onto the scene in late 2019 and have since been sound-tracking every summer romance you’ve ever lived through, real or imagined. With a wave of new music on the horizon destined to wash them in new directions of sound and influence, they stand as one of the most exciting acts to watch in 2021. Keep them close to your heart for fear of missing out.
